Be There, Be Counted Youth Video Competition
Young people aged 14 to 25 are encouraged to create short videos on important election-related issues.
Why do Elections ’08 matter? What’s at stake? What issues are important? What role should young people play?
Competition is divided into two divisions: Junior Division (aged 14 – 18) and Senior Division (aged 18 – 25). All young people in Hampton Roads are invited to participate - high school and college students, military personnel, working civilians.
The deadline for submissions is October 10, 2008. Two winners from each Division will be selected by a committee of judges.
